There are many scholarships out there for our high school seniors!
SENIORS, you should take the time to complete the scholarship applications. Make sure you apply to college FIRST and then complete your scholarship application. You have to get into college to be able to use your scholarship!
LHS Guidance will post scholarship applications throughout the year as they are released from the sponsoring organization. The larger, more competitive, national and regional scholarships are available earlier in the school year and local scholarships are available in early spring.
Remember that you should NEVER have to pay money to get information about FREE scholarship applications!

Very few scholarship applications are due to the School Counseling office, most are due to the scholarship committee directly.
Review each application for instructions to be sure your packet gets to the correct recipient.

***There are many online scholarship search engines and websites. Please be careful when searching online. Some sites are just fishing for your personal contact information and some are trying to scam you out of money. BE WISE!
