All students at Leicester High School must perform a minimum of 40 hours of community service during their high school career. Students may begin accruing hours beginning the summer prior to ninth grade. It is recommended that students perform 10 hours per year. However, students must have 30 hours completed in order to attend the Junior Prom and 40 hours are required to attend the Senior Dinner Dance and for graduation.

*Each student must complete an online form to have their hours count.  If community service is not pre-approved, students run the risk of the hours being declared invalid.  Prior approval may be given by:  Administration, STOMP Mentors and/or Guidance.
*Working for your family or friends is not considered community service (this includes babysitting)
*students may not earn community service hours during the school day
*All Seniors must have their Community Service hours completed by the end of Senior Final Exams.
*Students who transfer to LHS will be required to complete 5 hours per full semester of enrollment.
