Some Helpful Tips For Athletic Meeting Nights
1. Have your student athlete complete the Maroon Card during school hours.
2. Print the Athletic Enrollment Form and fill it out prior to arrival. There are a total of eight signatures required and ensure all information is filled in (including health insurer's information).
3. If you cannot attend the meeting please contact Mr. Zawada ( to schedule a time to meet prior to the start of the season.
4. The Athletic Fee ($100 High School and $75 Middle School) can be paid online. Online Payment Link Please know that you should not pay the fee until your student athlete is on a roster.

Athletic Fees
As in the past, the Leicester Public Schools require the payment of a non-refundable athletic fee in order to participate in the athletic program. The fee assists in defraying the costs of the athletic program offered by the Leicester Public Schools. This fee also allows the existing programs to continue and provides the student athletes with opportunities to pursue their athletic interest and exercise their talents.

This year the athletic fee will be $100 per sport, per student with a family maximum of $300 for high school students, and $75 per sport, per student with a family maximum of $225 for middle school students. Families with student athletes at both the high school and middle school will default to the $300 family maximum. The fee is due, in total, after the coach has finalized the roster (typically 7 days after tryouts). Students will not be given a uniform until the fee is paid. All fees must be paid online at the following link (Online Payment Link). Reference the student’s name and sport where applicable.

Coaches, nor the Athletic Office will be collecting fees. If you have a financial hardship that makes it difficult for you to pay the $100 athletic fee ($75 for middle school students) and you qualify for free or reduced price lunch, you may request a waiver of this fee by completing the form below and submitting to the Athletic Office.

This fee allows for participation in the athletic program, but does not guarantee playing time. Playing time is based upon many factors such as ability, dedication, and sportsmanship, and is determined by the coach.

There is no parking for spectators behind Leicester High School. Please utilize the parking lot at the high school. In the event that there are no parking spaces available in the high school lot for evening games, additional parking can be found at the middle and primary school

Athletic Physicals

Please know that physicals for athletic participation are only good for 13 months. Athletes are no longer eligible to participate after 13 months has passed. For example, an athlete who had his physical on September 6th, 2015 is no longer eligible on October 7th, 2016. For continued participation a new physical is required.

Heads-Up Concussion Training for Coaches

Free Concussion Course for Coaches, Parents and Administrators
The free concussion training, from the National Federation of High School Associations, found at the website above, must be completed if a parent/guardian did not attend the athletic meeting. Please print your certificate and submit it to the athletic office. Also, all coaches, paid and volunteer, must complete this training once per year and prior to the start of their season.
